Installation of the New Pay-By-Plate Parking Stations as of April 18, 2016
Westmount is introducing its new parking pay stations that feature a Pay-By-Plate technology, allowing customers to purchase parking minutes based on the licence plate number rather than on the parking spot. You will notice the deployment of the Pay Stations in the streets of Westmount.
- As of the week of April 18, 2016, the preparation of the pavement and the installation of the base will be carried out by Construction Tro-Map.
- Followed by the installation of traffic signs by Signalisation Lévis.
- During the week of April 25, 2016, the installation of the Pay Stations will be done by Mackay Meters.
The official launch will be on Monday, May 2. Which will signal the switch from the old parking meters to the new parking Pay Stations. Mobile payment is available by downloading the Passport Canada App on your smartphone through the AppStore or Google Play.
