Hydro Westmount: Work on the electric distribution network corner Ste-Catherine and Lansdowne as of May 2
With the aim of ensuring the reliability of the electrical distribution, improving continuity and securing the supply of electricity, Hydro Westmount will be carrying out work at the intersection of Ste-Catherine Street W. and Lansdowne Avenue, including Glen Road. Traffic on Ste-Catherine Street W. will be maintained in all directions at all times. Cyclist traffic will be maintained during the work.
Work is scheduled to begin on May 2, 2022 and the estimated duration of the work for Westmount Hydro is approximately 12 weeks. Due to the work, there will be obstructions on Glen Road, Ste-Catherine Street W. and Lansdowne Ave. Lansdowne Ave. Please follow the signs.
Scope of work: Project is divided in three phases
- Phase 1 – Partial closure of Glen Rd.: Street will be closed in the southbound direction.
- Phase 2 – Completed in two separate parts. Sainte-Catherine O. will be open in either east or west direction depending on the phase.
- Phase 3 – Partial closure of Lansdowne Ave.: Southbound traffic will be forbidden. This closure will be coordinated between TCI/HW and the project taking place at 200 Lansdowne Ave.
