How to register on the Citizen Portal

Registration procedures

  • Go to citoyen.westmount.org https://citoyen.westmount.org
  • Choose your preferred language from the menu on the right.
  • Click on the Sign up button at the top left corner.
  • Click on Anglais (top left corner of the white box)  to switch the language of the page
  • Then click on Register.
  • Fill in the fields on the form, choose a password and click on Register.
  • Fill this form with your personal information
  • Choose the language in which you would like to receive City notices and alerts.
  • Read the privacy policy and check the consentement box, then click on Register.
  • To complete your registration, the system will send you two (2) emails:
    – One email to invite you to activate your account
    – One email to welcome you to the portal and ask you to set up your preferences.
  • Check your mailbox for these messages. If you can’t find it, please check your spam folder.
  • In the activation email, click on the button Activate my account.
  • Your account on the Westmount Citizen Portal account is now activated!

HOW TO RECEIVE NOTICES FROM THE CITY (events, collections, water closures, etc.)

  • Log on to the Citizen portal using your user name and password
  • In the left-hand menu, click on My account, then in the additional menu that will appears click on My Municipal Notifications.
  • On the Municipal Notifications page, follow the steps indicated on screen to specify and verify your cell and/or phone (landline) number.
  • Once you have completed the verifications, stay on My Municipal Notifications page and choose the notification methods and the type of notifications you wish to receive.
  • Click on Register.
  • Fill the form, choose a password, and click on Register.
  • Fill this form with your personal information.
  • Choose the language in which you would like to receive City notices and alerts.
  • Read the privacy policy and check the consentement box, then click on Register.
  • To complete your registration, the system will send you two (2) emails:

  • Your account on the Westmount Citizen Portal account is now activated!

HOW TO RECEIVE NOTIFICATIONS FROM THE CITY (events, collections, water closures, etc.)

  • Log in to the Citizen portal using your user name and password
  • Click on the menu icon at the top right corner, then click on My account, then in the additional menu that appears click on My municipal notifications.
  • On the My municipal notifications page, follow the steps to  specify and verify your mobile and/or telephone (landline) number.
  • Once you have completed the verifications, please continue to scroll down to choose the notification methods and the type of notifications you wish to receive.

Next steps after the registration process

Please note: if you have already subscribed to E-Westmount, you do not need to subscribe to E-Westmount again via the portal.

From a computer:

  • Log on to the Citizen portal
  • In the left-hand menu, click on My account, then in the additional menu that appears, click on My subscriptions.

From a smartphone:

Log in to the Citizen portal
Click on the menu icon in the top right-hand corner, then click on My account, then in the additional menu that appears click on My subscriptions.

From a computer :

Log on to the Citizen Portal.
In the left-hand menu, click on Reports and fill in the form.

From a smartphone:

Log on to the Citizen Portal.
Click on the menu icon at the top right, then click on Reports and fill in the form.

From a computer :

  • Log on to the Citizen Portal.
  • In the left-hand menu, click on Permits.
  • Select the type of permit you want to apply for.

From a smartphone:

  • Log on to the Citizen Portal.
  • Click on the menu icon in the top right-hand corner, then click on Permits.
  • Select the type of permit you want to apply for.

From a computer :

  • Log on to the Citizen Portal.
  • In the left-hand menu, click on Other requests.
  • Select on the type of request you wish to make and complete the form.

From a smartphone:

  • Log on to the Citizen Portal.
  • Click on the menu icon at the top right, then click on Other requests.
  • Select on the type of request you wish to make and complete the form.

From a computer :

  • Log on to the Citizen Portal.
  • Click on My account, then in the additional menu that appears click on My profile.
  • Go to the bottom of the page and click on Delete my account.

From a smartphone :

  • Log in to the Citizen Portall.
  • Click on the menu icon in the top right-hand corner, then click on My account, then in the additional menu that appears click on My profile.
  • Go to the bottom of the page and click on Delete my account.
