Holocaust Memorial Day: Statement from the Mayor

Today, on Yom Hashoah, the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust, we pay tribute to the six million Jewish men, women, and children who were murdered during the Second World War and to the survivors of that terrible chapter in our history.

We wish to express our solidarity with the Jewish community and the Holocaust survivors who are in our thoughts in these times of confinement.
