Special Exhibition – Cœurs encrés: Art and Insights of the Elderly

The Coeurs encrés: Art and Insights of the Elderly exhibition emerged from a series of 10 workshops where participants experimented with techniques such as ink, watercolor, acrylic painting, and collage. Supported by a visual artist, an intercultural mediator, and a writer, the project encouraged these women to use their art as a medium to express their journey.

Daren, Hélène, Huguette and Zhen. Four women who reside in Westmount, aged from 60 to 92, from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of artistic experience engaged in workshops to explore self expression. Curiosity and openness guided them as they ventured into unfamiliar creative territory.

Presented in collaboration with PAAL Partageons le monde.
