Minimalist music, or the art of saying much with little.
Minimalist composers touch directly on emotion and the human soul. With their emphasis on rhythm and pulse, works from this school allow instant communication with the audience. Some more contemplative works are an antidote to everyday stress.
The Trio Fibonacci invites audiences to discover the atmospheric music of composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, Brian Eno and Max Richter, the deep, mystical melodies of Arvo Pärt and the hypnotic rhythms of Michael Nyman and Philip Glass. The concert program features unique versions for piano and strings, created by the members of Trio Fibonacci.
