Equipment delivery and crane operation at the Westmount Recreation Centre – November 1

Please be advised that due to adverse weather conditions, the equipment delivery at the WRC has been rescheduled to Wednesday November 1st 2017. The installation of a crane will be required. This work will begin at 7 a.m. and will last for one day.

The crane will be installed on de Maisonneuve Blvd between Westmount Park and Lansdowne and will result in the closure of this section of the street to vehicular traffic. In addition, to allow for the mobilization and delivery of the equipment, a ‘’no parking’’ restriction will be in effect on the following streets for the duration of the work:

  • De Maisonneuve Blvd between Lansdowne and Roslyn;
  • Lansdowne between the main entrance of the WRC and de Maisonneuve Blvd.

For safety reasons, some pedestrian pathways located on the roof of the WRC will be deviated and a reduced access will be maintained on the section of the bike path located adjacent to the crane.
