COVID-19: Vaccine Passport required as of September 1st, 2021
As of September 1, 2021, the Gouvernement du Québec will be introducing its COVID-19 vaccine passports. With the vaccine passport, people age 13 and up who are adequately protected or who have a clinical contraindication to COVID-19 vaccination can gain admittance to certain locations and certain non-essential activities where the risk of transmission is high.
SPORTS AND RECREATION
To have access to the 2021-22 Fall/Winter Activities at the Westmount Recreation Centre, you must adhere to the regulations and have your proof of vaccination against COVID-19. You can show proof in one of three ways: On paper, in a PDF on your mobile device, or on the VaxiCode application. Whichever method you choose, you must also show photo ID.
LIBRARY AND COMMUNITY EVENTS
Access to the Westmount Public Library does not require the vaccine passport for now. The need for the vaccine passport to enter the Library will be announced in the coming weeks. But access to any events within the Library or Victoria Hall will require proof of vaccination against COVID-19. You can show proof in one of three ways: On paper, in a PDF on your mobile device, or on the VaxiCode application. Whichever method you choose, you must also show photo ID.
