All Westmount residents will be receiving the latest booklet, “A Walk In The Park”, highlighting the main guidelines for the Westmount Park Enhancement Master Plan.
In 2019, the City initiated the Westmount Park Enhancement Master Plan to preserve the park’s green heritage and offer Westmounters a unique space for nature and relaxation. This project is being carried out through a public participation process that aims to involve the community in preserving this beloved park.
Through various public consultations, residents and park users have expressed their desire to:
- Preserve the natural setting and picturesque appearance of the park
- Make the park accessible to everyone throughout all seasons
- Create a natural habitat that encourages biodiversity
- Encourage multigenerational and multipurpose spaces
The booklet will be delivered between July 30 and August 6. Residents can respond to the proposed plans by participating in a small poll, online at engage.westmount.org/reaction or with the pre-stamped response card. That short poll will end on August 20th.
