Art Westmount Returns on May 6 & 7
We are pleased to announce the return of Art Westmount on May 6 and 7 at Victoria Hall. More than 35 local artists across a range of disciplines are registered to share their work in what is sure to be a great weekend!
What: Art Westmount, an annual event highlighting local artists
When: May 6 and 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Victoria Hall – 4646 Sherbrooke Street West
Who: entry and art workshops are free and open to everyone
Discover exhibiting artists in the Concert Hall and the Prud’homme Room, and join in art workshops at the Gallery (material and refreshments provided). This is your chance to admire paintings, sculptures, miniatures and more up close, and to exchange with the creative minds who made them. Some original works and derived objects will also be for sale by the artists – you can support local work and find a truly unique gift just in time for Mothers’ Day.
Since 2006, the mission of Art Westmount has been to recognize and celebrate local artists – be they amateur, emerging, semi-professional or established – by offering them a rare opportunity to exhibit, commission-free, in a beautiful venue. We welcome all people to visit Victoria Hall, a fully accessible building, for this wonderful event that gathers the community and shines a light on Westmount’s unique cultural footprint.
