Taxation Officer
Purpose of position
The work consists of carrying out a range of accounting and taxation tasks for the various departments, including processing data associated with assessment certificates, taxation and collection, adjustments, and reimbursements. The incumbent must also analyze files regarding the assessment roll, the welcome tax, etc., and interpret the various laws relating to them.
Qualifications
- Must have a college diploma (DEC) in accounting and management techniques.
Experience
- Two (2) years of experience in a department relevant to the nature of the job or in a job that has familiarized the candidate with this field.
Other requirements:
Knowlege
- Accounting theories, principles, and methods
- Spoken and written French and English
- Fundamental principles of bank reconciliations
- Journal entries.
