Taxation and Revenue Clerk
Purpose of position
The work consists of carrying out a range of administrative and operational tasks to ensure the imposition, collection, receipt, and reimbursement, when applicable, of different taxes and other revenue.
The incumbent shall also perform various tasks involving data verification and the application of adjustments, interest, and reimbursements.
Qualifications
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (DSC) in accounting and management techniques.
Experience
- Six (6) months of experience in an environment that enabled the incumbent to become familiar with the field.

Knowledge
- Laws and regulations relating to the imposition, collection, and receipt of taxes and other revenue
- Work methods and processes related to imposition, collection, and receipt; inquiries; and file management (case load)
- Software relevant to the field
- Knowledge and understanding of spoken and written French and English.
