Corporate Systems and Applications Officer
Purpose of position
The work consists of administering and managing the various corporate systems and the databases required to operate the information systems.
Qualifications
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) in Computer Science Technology or in Network Management.
Experience
- Two (2) years of experience in an environment that enabled the incumbent to become familiar with the field.
Examples of tasks to be accomplished
- Leading and monitoring projects in his/her field of expertise, preparing estimates and deadline schedules, coordinating activities, and completing the projects’ follow-up and progress reports. In some cases, he/she may direct resources assigned to projects to ensure they are completed;
- Assisting and collaborating with the supplier when acquiring a new system, throughout its implementation, and in the technical deployment of appropriate solutions;
- Participating, in collaboration with suppliers, in the technical installation of new corporate or departmental information systems;
- Documenting and updating the application schema of the corporate and departmental systems, as well as the succession process of various systems;
- Managing, at an operational level, the different databases required to operate the corporate and departmental systems.

- Management of software and backups;
- French and English (spoken and written).
